Professor

Sung-Yul Kim received the B.S. and M.Phil. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He was a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA (2012–2013), and served at Keimyung University,
Daegu (2013–2024). He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Hanyang University.
His research interests include computer-aided optimization, renewable energy in smart grids, and integrated energy systems.
